Bespoke Architectural Metal Work

Starting From £4,000

We make a broad range of bespoke architectural metalwork for our customers. Our mission is to make things which are beautiful, long lasting, practical and affordable.

We work with clients, designers and contractors, taking products with often quite functional purposes and elevating them to a decorative level, such as room dividers, light wells, gates, balustrades and so on.

We like to work in various materials, with metal being our primary passion. Particular favourites are steel, aluminium, brass and copper, with various finishing types such as powder coating, antiquing, anodising and PVD.

Our team includes designers, engineers and project managers, and we work with developers, brands, architects, interior and garden designers, contractors and horticulturalists.

Past projects have included decorative metalwork for:

Bespoke Pergola and Decorative Tree Grilles:

RHS Chelsea Flower Show – Urban Flow – Designed by Tony Woods. This beautiful and thought-provoking garden won Gold and Best in Category at the 2018 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

We were commissioned to supply the laser-cut cantilevered pergolas and decorative tree grilles, fabricated in Corten steel. Our creative director and founder, Martine Le Gassick, developed a gorgeous pattern which perfectly reflected the key messages of the garden and used shapes inspired by natural processes associated with climate change, water flow and leaf shapes in the planting scheme. The end result was a triumph, with the laser-cut fretwork casting beautiful, dappled patterns across the space.

Decorative Corten Cladding:

Private Residence – Surrey. We were asked to design and supply decorative Corten steel cladding for a large garden office and sun room featuring a bespoke pattern designed especially for the garden to reflect the environment and planting scheme, using organic shapes and details with leaf motifs and berries.

The choice of material in this setting enhanced the connection to nature and the beautiful setting with its warm auburn colour tone. Laser-cut decorative cladding can transform a utilitarian area of a building or wall into a beautiful, architectural focal point when used judiciously.

Decorative Metal Screening:

RHS Chelsea Flower Show – Lemon Tree Trust Garden – Designed by Tom Massey.
This garden won Silver Gilt at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2018. The design references the plight of refugee families, displaced and held at the huge Domiz camp in Northern Iraq.
The garden’s sponsors, The Lemon Tree Trust, are a charity which, having observed the living conditions in the camp, set out to help those refugees build themselves small gardens, using basic materials such as corrugated iron sheet and bare concrete, as a way of bringing order to a chaotic situation and creating spaces to for people to come together, learn about horticulture, grow food and conserve water.

Tom’s brief was to take those humble materials and translate the setting to a show garden: It was a difficult challenge which he met brilliantly, creating a beautiful, emotionally charged masterpiece.

We were lucky enough to be asked to design and fabricate bespoke metal screening for this inspiring garden. In line with the brief, we fabricated the laser-cut panels in steel and then galvanised and finished them with T-wash (an industrial primer) to create an aged, sun-baked patina, which came out a pleasing muted grey/blue colour. The finished result was highly successful, contributing to one of the best gardens of the year.
