Is a moongate arch right for your garden?
Moongates add a stunning feature to your garden. This versatile archway can be used as an entrance or as a showstopping sculpture to catch visitors attention. The Corten steel will naturally oxidise over time to add a rich rusted patina shade to your garden, and the Corten steel material is durable enough to withstand all types of British weather. These zero maintenance products are made in the UK and can be recycled, making moongates the perfect choice for your home.
Installing your Corten steel moongate
Your moongate has a welded base plate (measuring 900 x 500 mm) with fixing holes of 13.5 mm diameter for M12 resin anchor fixings. We advise setting a concrete pad onsite of 200 mm depth marginally larger than the base plate to allow adequate fixing. The top of the pad is to be 80 mm lower than ground level.
